Grillos madrugadores online dating

Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo have today been cleared of fraud, following a three week trial at Isleworth Crown Court. They were accused of spending more than £685,000 using Nigella Lawson and Charles Saatchi's credit cards on themselves, without the couple's authorisation - a claim that the jury rejected.

Here we looks back at 10 things we learned from the case.

1 'Saatchi liked weak tea and burnt toast for breakfast' Nigella told the court her ex-husband preferred preferred weak tea and burnt toast to her food.

She added one of the main tasks carried out by the former couple's housekeeper Francesca Grillo was to buy plain boiled eggs for Mr Saatchi.

2 'Nigella phoned an aide who was away on holiday to try to find the TV remote control' Nigella told the court her ex-husband Charles Saatchi would have become "incredibly irritable" if it had not been found.

She said their staff were often too scared to speak to him, adding: "Mr Saatchi likes to have control over every element." 3 'Nigella and Mr Saatchi had a room in their London home just for storing silverware' The court heard this room was cleaned "once or twice a month" at £400 a time.

She said: "It was me who goes to buy the frappuccinos.

"Sometimes I buy 12 of them and I put them in the freezer for him so he could have them." 8 'Nigella spent £55k at Donna Karan in just four years' The TV cook's personal assistant Zoe Wales told the court she had spent £54,552.68 buying clothes for her boss in four years from 2008 until 2012.

The money was spent in 22 transactions at Donna Karan.

9 'Francesca Grillo would rather go to jail than live in Battersea' When Charles Saatchi discovered that the Grillo sisters had spent £685,000 of his money, he had a meeting with them at which he offered them both the chance to live rent-free in Nigella’s home in Battersea, South London, while they repaid him.

Nigella said she found it "hard to believe it cost that much" as "mostly the silver looked awful".

4 'Mr Saatchi asked Elisabetta Grillo to buy up copies of his book in a bid to boost him up the bestseller list' Elisabetta Grillo, 41, told the court her boss gave her money up to four times a week to buy copies to boost sales.

She added Mr Saatchi didn't want her to buy the books with his credit card, for fear the shops would know it was him.
